Video: Egyptian Revolution Jan 25th 2011 – Take what’s Yours

27 January 2011 IslamophobiaToday 2 Comments Email This Post Email This Post

I wish I would have found this video sooner. It is hard to televise the revolution,  echoing Gil Scott-Heron, but nevertheless this video is awe-inspiring and at the same time heartbreaking. Egypt is not getting enough coverage in the news media, but that does not mean things aren’t changing.

About the video

Created by tshaaban88. Another Egyptian who’s had enough.

Good work everyone! The video has made it in the press and new channels!

Aljazeera showed a segment from this video and noted that it was blocked in several middle eastern countries.

Description
—————-
Violent clashes between police and demonstrators as over ten thousand gather on the streets of Cairo. The Egyptian population has endured a tyrants rule for far too long, millions struggle each day to find where their next meal is coming from. January 25th, 2011 marks the day when the people rise and take back what’s rightfully there’s. This isn’t the end, but hopefully the beginning to a long awaited regime change! Send to everyone and let them know.
