Challenges for FBI’s Reform Pledge

23 September 2011 General 27 Comments Email This Post Email This Post

by Spencer Ackerman

Following months of denials, the FBI is now promising a “comprehensive review of all training and reference materials” after Danger Room revealed a series of Bureau presentations that tarred average Muslims as “radical” and “violent.”

But untangling the Islamophobic thread woven into the FBI’s counterterrorism training culture won’t be easy. In addition to inflammatory seminars which likened Islam to the Death Star and Mohammed to a “cult leader,” Danger Room has obtained more material showing just how wide the anti-Islam meme has spread throughout the Bureau.

The FBI library at Quantico currently stacks books from authors who claim that “Islam and democracy are totally incompatible.” The Bureau’s private intranet recently featured presentations that claimed to demonstrate the “inherently violent nature of Islam,” according to multiple sources. Earlier this year, the Bureau’s Washington Field Office welcomed a speaker who claimed Islamic law prevents Muslims from being truly loyal Americans. And as recently as last week, the online orientation material for the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Forces included claims that Sunni Islam seeks “domination of the world,” according to a law enforcement source.

“I don’t think anyone with half a brain would paint 1.2 billion people of any ethnic or religious persuasion with a single brushstroke,” Mike Rolince, an FBI counterterrorism veteran who started Boston’s JTTF, tells Danger Room. “Who did they run that curriculum by — either an internal or outside expert — to get some balance?”

The FBI declined to respond directly to such questions from Danger Room. But what’s clear is that the anti-Islam sentiment in the FBI’s training and orientation isn’t the marginal problem that the Bureau portrayed in its previous public statements and press releases. It’s not a historical problem, it’s ongoing. And it will require substantial effort to root out. Not even a July warning from the office of a powerful senator was able to spur the Bureau to purge itself of its anti-Islam material.

  1. I would only trust an FBI that made a point of teaching it’s staff about the dangers of islam. Anything else is a sham.

  2. not really

honestly there’s so much intolerance and lies about islam no one has to make anything up

  3. There’s so much propaganda and lies promoting islam as a religion of peace when in fact if one reads the koran, hadith & sura with the abrogations it proves how violent islam is to anyone who doesn’t practice islam. The real objection is to anyone telling the truth about islam, because the truth exposes it’s sordid underbelly.

And as for intolerance, there are none so intolerant as those who follow islam. Just try to count all the churches in Saudi Arabia, one hand is enough. Or try to rebuild a church in any muslim majority country. Or even try to get into SA with a cross around your neck or a bible in your luggage. Try to take a seeing -eye dog in a cab in New York. Or try to carry alcohol in that same cab. Ask the local mosque to turn down the loud irritating call to prayer and see what happens. Try to stop the building of a mega mosque on a residential street and all hell breaks loose. These are just a few of the things that expose muslim intolerance. For muslims, tolerance seems to be a strictly a one-way street.

  4. “I don’t think anyone with half a brain would paint 1.2 billion people of any ethnic or religious persuasion with a single brushstroke,” uhhhmm we ARE talking about the FBI… imagine if J. Edgar Hoover was still running this organization? We’d be having this converstation inside a concentration camp… Stay strong brothers and sisters

  5. anonymous

No it is not. When the pagan Arabs of Taaif threw Mohammad out of their town for preaching the oneness of God (the very same message Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and other Prophets carried) he had no anger in his heart. He was in pain, because of the rocks they’d thrown at him until he’d bled profusely and that no one was hedding his word. Then the Archangel Gabriel came down and told Mohammad that he could squish Taaif between two mountains-killing all of them. but you know what Mohammad said? He said “No. leave them be.” Imagine, ms/mr anonymous, for a second that an entire town through you out for no reason. They just hated you. They beat you up and humiliated you. Wouldn’t you want to destroy them for hurting you? if you had the chance? Muhammad had that very power in his hands but he rejected it.

    Here’s another story.

A Jewish man in madinah was being harassed by some Muslim guys. Someone told the prophet about this, and he literally ran there and told the men to stop. He picked the Jewish man up and scolded the Muslims for hurting the man. Jews and Christians are people of the book. Our cousins.

I know in SA there aren’t many Churches, but how many actual Christians do you see live there? And the reason many islamic leaders don’t allow that is because they are indeed corrupt. i don’t trust them. Abbas, Abdullah, Gaddafi, theyre all fools. i agree with you to an extent, it’s not right. It’s almost the epitome of intolerance. BUT BUT BUT

You obviously havent done your research on Islamic history my friend. In early Islam the Pagan Mekkans were persecuting Muslims so many fled to Abyssnia, a mainly Christian country at the time. They pleaded Al-Najashi, the beautiful hearted Chritian ruler, to let them stay. He did. That’s like the biggest favor anyone can ever do for someone. And thats why I love Christians. It’s because of Al najashi. That’s why God supprts Christian and Jewish peoples in the Quran.

    5:69
Lo! those who believe, and those who are Jews, and Sabaeans, and Christians – Whosoever believeth in Allah and the Last Day and doeth right – there shall no fear come upon them neither shall they grieve

Sadly, no one listens to the Quran except regular Muslims, and regular Muslims aren’t in charge of the Middle East. So…that’s why you see what you see.

You know how much propaganda there is about Islam being BAD? People say islam is a jew hating (We believe in th Torah and Moses and this verse: ‘We gave Moses the Book,
    And made it a Guide
    To the Children of Israel,
    (Commanding): “Take not
    Other than Me
As Disposer of (your) affairs.” (from surat bani- Israel children of Israel i.e the Jews)

And people who say Muslims hate jews or the other way around is because o the conflict between Jews and Palestinians, who hapen to be both Jewish and Muslim.

They also say we are a communism lovig bunch.

Communism never existed back then, it was never mentioned in the Quran, or the hadith or seerah. if you ask a Muslim what communism is they won’t know.

SHaria law. Actually, there are a set of laws in the Quran in which leaders of the Ummayyed and Abassid empires ruled, BUT the rules Shariah law talks about aren’t even close to that of the Quran. they are oppressive and corrupt.

I suggest you bring ayahs stating specifically that Jews and Christians aren’t revered in Islam, or that they are wrong, or that their prophets were false. Because they weren’t. Jesus (Isa in Arabic and Hebrew) Moses (Musa in Arabic and Hebrew) Abraham (Ibraheem in A and H) David (Dawod in A H) and many others that I will state in my next comment were all revered and praised in the Quran and so were there people. I challenge you to bring me ayahs (WITH explainations and the pretenses in which they were revealed) that state what you keep saying. Because you haven’t proven it. One bit. I’m a Muslim. I know my religion.

  6. Yahya in Arabic, Aramaic, Farsi, and Hebrew (John to the rest of you guys) “Oh, Zakariah (Zachariah) We give you good news that a son will be given to you, his name will be yehya, we have never created one like him before.” (Surat Mariam aka Mary mother of Jesus)

This ayah reveals to us that Zakariah who was elderly and sad. he was a Jewish Prophet in Jersusalem, and he was nearing his last few years on Earth. He knew his family would not follow in his example and would deface Judaism, so he asked God for a son. He ws 120 years old and his wife 98. The could not have children for his wife was sterile so he pleaded for God for one descendant. God sent down Gabriel to tell him he would get a son named yehya who would keep the Jews together. Read the surah of Maryam, you’ll see there’s no bigoted remarks towards Jews or Christians.

30.”He [‘Iesa (Jesus)] said: Verily! I am a slave of Allâh, He has given me the Scripture and made me a Prophet;[]”

31.”And He has made me blessed wheresoever I be, and has enjoined on me Salât (prayer), and Zakât, as long as I live.”

32.”And dutiful to my mother, and made me not arrogant, unblest.

33.”And Salâm (peace) be upon me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the day I shall be raised alive!”

34.Such is ‘Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary). (it is) a statement of truth, about which they doubt (or dispute).

(Keep in mind Allah is the Arabic word for God, Arab and Persian Christians use it too. The reason why Muslims say it is mostly becaue islam and the Quran strted out with the Arabs)

  7. 0.Verily! We will inherit the earth and whatsoever is thereon. And to Us they all shall be returned,

41.And mention in the Book (the Qur’ân) Ibrâhim (Abraham). Verily! He was a man of truth, a Prophet.

42.When he said to his father: “O my father! Why do you worship that which hears not, sees not and cannot avail you in anything?

43.”O my father! Verily! There has come to me of knowledge that which came not unto you. So follow me. I will guide you to a Straight Path.

44.”O my father! Worship not Shaitân (Satan). Verily! Shaitân (Satan) has been a rebel against the Most Beneficent (Allâh).

45.”O my father! Verily! I fear lest a torment from the Most Beneficent (Allâh) overtake you, so that you become a companion of Shaitân (Satan) (in the Hell-fire).” [Tafsir Al-Qurtubî]

    (surah maryam)

  8. 51.And mention in the Book (this Qur’ân) Mûsa (Moses). Verily! He was chosen and he was a Messenger (and) a Prophet.

52.And We called him from the right side of the Mount, and made him draw near to Us for a talk with him [Mûsa (Moses)].

53.And We bestowed on him his brother Hârûn (Aaron), (also) a Prophet, out of Our Mercy.

54.And mention in the Book (the Qur’ân) Ismâ’il (Ishmael). Verily! He was true to what he promised, and he was a Messenger, (and) a Prophet.

55.And he used to enjoin on his family and his people As-Salât (the prayers) and the Zakât, and his Lord was pleased with him.

56.And mention in the Book (the Qur’ân) Idris (Enoch).Verily! He was a man of truth, (and) a Prophet.

57.And We raised him to a high station.

    (surah maryam)

  9. 48. And indeed We granted to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron) the criterion (of right and wrong), and a shining light [i.e. the Taurat (Torah)] and a Reminder for Al-Muttaqun (the pious – see V.2:2).

    49. Those who fear their Lord without seeing Him, while they are afraid of the Hour.

    50. And this is a blessed Reminder (the Qur’an) which We have sent down, will you then (dare to) deny it?

    51. And indeed We bestowed aforetime on Ibrahim (Abraham) his (portion of) guidance, and We were Well-Acquainted with him (as to his Belief in the Oneness of Allah, etc.).

    52. When he said to his father and his people: “What are these images, to which you are devoted?”

    53. They said:”We found our fathers worshipping them.”

    54. He said: “Indeed you and your fathers have been in manifest error.”

    55. They said: “Have you brought us the truth, or are you one of those who play about?”

    56. He said: “Nay, your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, Who created them and of that I am one of the witnesses.

    57. “And by Allah, I shall plot a plan (to destroy) your idols after you have gone away and turned your backs.”

    58. So he broke them to pieces, (all) except the biggest of them, that they might turn to it.

    59. They said: “Who has done this to our aliha (gods)? He must indeed be one of the wrong-doers.”

    60. They said: “We heard a young man talking (against) them who is called Ibrahim (Abraham).”

    61. They said: “Then bring him before the eyes of the people, that they may testify.”

    62. They said: “Are you the one who has done this to our gods, O Ibrahim (Abraham)?”

    63. [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: “Nay, this one, the biggest of them (idols) did it. Ask them, if they can speak!”

    64. So they turned to themselves and said: “Verily, you are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers).”

    65. Then they turned to themselves (their first thought and said): “Indeed you [Ibrahim (Abraham)] know well that these (idols) speak not!”

    66. [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: “Do you then worship besides Allah, things that can neither profit you, nor harm you?

    67. “Fie upon you, and upon that which you worship besides Allah! Have you then no sense?”

    68. They said: “Burn him and help your aliha (gods), if you will be doing.”

    69. We (Allah) said: “O fire! Be you coolness and safety for Ibrahim (Abraham)!”

    70. And they wanted to harm him, but We made them the worst losers.

    71. And We rescued him and Lout (Lot) to the land which We have blessed for the ‘Alamin (mankind and jinns).

    76. And (remember) Nuh (Noah), when he cried (to Us) aforetime. We listened to his invocation and saved him and his family from great distress.

    77. We helped him against people who denied Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.). Verily, they were a people given to evil. So We drowned them all.

    78. And (remember) Dawud (David) and Sulaiman (Solomon), when they gave judgement in the case of the field in which the sheep of certain people had pastured at night and We were witness to their judgement.

    79. And We made Sulaiman (Solomon) to understand (the case), and to each of them We gave Hukman (right judgement of the affairs and Prophethood) and knowledge. And We subjected the mountains and the birds to glorify Our Praises along with Dawud (David), And it was We Who were the doers (of all these things).

(surah al anbiya i.e. the Messengers)

  10. 83. And (remember) Ayub (Job), when he cried to his Lord: “Verily, distress has seized me, and You are the Most Merciful of all those who show mercy.”

    84. So We answered his call, and We removed the distress that was on him, and We restored his family to him (that he had lost), and the like thereof along with them, as a mercy from Ourselves and a Reminder for all who worship Us.

    85. And (remember) Isma’il (Ishmael), and Idris (Enoch) and Dhul-Kifl (Isaiah), all were from among As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.).

    86. And We admitted them to Our Mercy. Verily, they were of the righteous.

    87. And (remember) Dhan-Nun (Jonah), when he went off in anger, and imagined that We shall not punish him (i.e. the calamites which had befallen him)! But he cried through the darkness (saying): La ilaha illa Anta [none has the right to be worshipped but You (O Allah)], Glorified (and Exalted) are You [above all that (evil) they associate with You]. Truly, I have been of the wrong-doers.”

    88. So We answered his call, and delivered him from the distress. And thus We do deliver the believers (who believe in the Oneness of Allah, abstain from evil and work righteousness).

    89. And (remember) Zakariya (Zachariah), when he cried to his Lord: “O My Lord! Leave me not single (childless), though You are the Best of the inheritors.”

    (surah al anbiya)

  11. And I was born and raised here. I am American. I have my citizenship. my parents have them. I know the bill of rights, and I know the presidents more than the average American. You ask some who the fist prez was they’ll say “Chrstopher colombus” I saw it in a video. Really sad.

I love the american flag. The meanings behind the stars and stripes are so nice. I believe America is a great place. So people are sometimes racist, and some are conspiracy nuts, and we’re the fattest country ever, but there’s something about America I appreciate.

  12. All of what you say is only relevant tp people who take the word of Mohammed as gospel. I do not, but I see you have been thoroughly brainwashed and I am wasting my time with you.

If you truly do love America and I find it hard to believe that most muslims have any loyalty but to islam, then we share an unlikely piece of common ground.

  13. Anon

one. Islam is a religion. America is not. A Muslim can be an American citizen. tell me the difference, us American Muslims. We have our citizen ships, we abide by the rules, many of us go to public American schools. We love it here, thats why we are here. So how is that not loyalty? If you’ve read the Quran ( and I know you haven’t since you haven’t given me any proof-very sad) you will see we have nothing against America. it’s not even in the Quran that America is a bad thing. America isn’t even named in the Quran, at all. Period

two. you obviously have never done research for yourself and you are brainwashed by the media. You can’t give me clear proof that Muslims are evil and murderous people and hate all other religions. Which is funny because here Islam is praising Jesus and all other prophets and faiths. You can’t bring me evidence because you in fact have been convinced by the media and satan that we’re bad people. So who told you that we’re bad? CNN? Glenn Beck? How about you get a quran, at least here when most people challenge Islam they have some kind of Ayah, even if it is misquoted at least they look for proof. You just talk from your ass. No proof. patheticccccc, and you call yourself an American. If you were really American you’d know in the bill of rights it says we have a freedom of speech and religion.

Of course your nothing to me. Your nothing compared to what Quraysh (the pagan arabs) put the early Muslims through. You can’t prove nothing, just like them. Just plain jahiliyyah. bet you can’t research that either.

  14. I’ll make it easy for you.

    Jahilliyah is ignorance in Arabic.

  15. Elle, dont waste your breath and time with anti-Islam/anti-muslims bigots, ’cause no matter how mutch time you spend explaining to make them understand, they wont get-it, why? ‘Cause they dont want to, or are not ready to understand, time being they find comfort in their choice to remain in ignorance. So you see, you’ll just end-up in frustrating situation in repeating yourself over and over again. Trust me is Not worth it, but we can pray for them, for only God is capable in getting them out of their ignorant bigotry.

Can you tell me, if you get the time, Which translation of the Qur’an are you using? I know lots of people say Yusuf Ali’s or Muhammad Asad’s are the 2 best of the english translations, and its true they’re very good, but i’m looking for equally good, though newer translations in enghish or french.

  16. Islam is so violent oh oh Muhammad (saws) was a violent man…. Glory to God the most high these slanderers will have to c God one day n what is more lovely Jesus (saws) will testify against being the son of God. Islam is asviolent.. really? Who’s salvation llllMuslim these days is like being Jesus.. They wana nail us to their cross based off lies. Any one of u related to Judas? Thats u New name u

  17. Saw is an acronym for “salah allah alehi wa salam” Meaning prayer to God on him and peace.

Jesus is one of our beloved prophets. And we believe that when Jesus was fleeing the Jews God made Judas look like Jesus . He brought Jesus up to Heaven and the jews killed Judas instead.

your comment is really like jibber jabber, can you make sense please

    Sahra

I go online and I type in my ayahs, to be honest I don’t count on the names unless the site itself sounds racist or biased. I don’t have a translated Quran, but you know I should probably look for one lol

  18. Elle.

I think Omar is trying to be sarcastic towards christians, but he obviously fail as he’s comments dont make mutch sense.

Thanks for the reply though, I have the English translation by Marmaduke Pickthall, its one of the most clear translation. But if your looking for one yourself, try also Abdel Hakeem’s, Yusuf Ali’s or Muhammad Assad’s, I think those 4, at least for me, are the most clear and comprehensible translations in English so far.

  19. elle,

that’s a hell of a disertation. i didn’t read it all. blame it on my ADD, and football is getting ready to start, but this jumped out at me. “I suggest you bring ayahs stating specifically that Jews and Christians aren’t revered in Islam, or that they are wrong” don’t remeber the verse think it was in the 5th surah. the jews say esra is the son of god and the christians say isa is the son of god?????? you know it, i don’t need to google it?

    sahra,

sup, how’s things on loonwatch. if you want my copy of muhammad asad’s koran, i’ll send it to you. or if you’re in america you can ask a cair office for one.

more news of the day, from the religion of peace and the craddle of civilization, how ironic…..

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-15051811

  20. my bad 9:30

[9.29] Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Apostle have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the tax in acknowledgment of superiority and they are in a state of subjection.
[9.30] And the Jews say: Uzair is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!
[9.31] They have taken their doctors of law and their monks for lords besides Allah, and (also) the Messiah son of Marium and they were enjoined that they should serve one God only, there is no god but He; far from His glory be what they set up (with Him).
[9.32] They desire to put out the light of Allah with their mouths, and Allah will not consent save to perfect His light, though the unbelievers are averse.
[9.33] He it is Who sent His Apostle with guidance and the religion of truth, that He might cause it to prevail over all religions, though the polytheists may be averse.
[9.34] O you who believe! most surely many of the doctors of law and the monks eat away the property of men falsely, and turn (them) from Allah’s way; and (as for) those who hoard up gold and silver and do not spend it in Allah’s way, announce to them a painful chastisement,
[9.35] On the day when it shall be heated in the fire of hell, then their foreheads and their sides and their backs shall be branded with it; this is what you hoarded up for yourselves, therefore taste what you hoarded.
[9.36] Surely the number of months with Allah is twelve months in Allah’s ordinance since the day when He created the heavens and the earth, of these four being sacred; that is the right reckoning; therefore be not unjust to yourselves regarding them, and fight the polytheists all together as they fight you all together; and know that Allah is with those who guard (against evil).

elle, what jews believed in a son of god? i never heard the jews thought anyone was the son of god.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uzair

  21. mike

I meant the Jews and Christians of Moses’s and Jesus’s times, because then they weren’t corrupted by the Roman Empire. The ones that followed the original bible and torah. And even the Jews of Zachariah’s time, many were very corrupt but Z and his immediate family followed true Judaism. Even now you have true Christians and Jews wit views similar to the Muslims. but most people nowadays believe in Jesus as the son of God and whatever.

God meant the pagans and those who disbelieved the oneness of God. Not like, oh fight the Christians. You know? And they can’t fight for no reason like there has to be a cause. Like when the Quraysh broke the peace treaty the Prophet issued and Abu Sfyan (one of Islam’s greatest enemies) came and threatened the prophet and his wife Ramlah (who happened to be Abu Sufyan’s only daughter) and also threatened Islam. Because of the broken treaty and the direct threat, a battle strted.

  22. elle,

i guess i don’t know what ayah means? i thought it was a koranic verse? am i wrong?

anyways, i am one of “those who disbelieved the oneness of God”, i see no proof of a god. you don’t want to fight me? do you????

  23. No. Unless you physically did something to me no I would not. islam has this whole thing about ignoring the ignorant and unwilling to understand because of surat abasa. They cause you to get angry and frustrated so it’s better to tunr the other cheek.

And what about ayahs? I don’t follow.

  24. you misunderstood, Islam doesn’t say oh fight the unbeliever if he did nothing wrong. Unless he waged war on YOU then if you must fight. Like in ancient Andalus, until the crusades all was well between the muslims and jews and chritians and I bet some polytheists and atheists lived there too. Muslims allowed the protection of chruches and bibles because Jews and Christians are people of the book. But its because of the indonesians that bombed that church, my words mean nothing to you. Like I said to anon, whats being said and done now is not the religion. the Quran is. people have a way of giving into corruption.

  25. hang on let me do the number thing

    1. what does ayah mean?

    2. sorry to jump in on your anonymaous conversation but i thought you said “I suggest you bring ayahs stating specifically that Jews and Christians aren’t revered in Islam, or that they are wrong”

    3. so i thought that is what i was doing with me 9:29 through 9:36?

    4. now you say “I meant the Jews and Christians of Moses’s and Jesus’s times”. don’t they predate ayahs, unless i got the definition of ayahs wrong. sorry i don’t speak arabic. thought that ayahs mean verses in the koran?

good to hear you won’t attack me, i was just kidding. i kepy forgetting my jk(s), plus i don’t think you could take me anyways. i’ve been watching mma….

  26. lol number thing

    1. yep. Ayah is Quranic verse in Arabic, but it also means a sign. Like when Zachariah asked god to give him an ayah that his wife will have a son and God answered his ayah is that he will not speak for three days.

2.I did? God talks about the people of the book all the time. In the Quran he mentions them and the prophets before Islam in most surahs. Like surah Maryam, or Surah Nuh (noah) or al Anbiya (the messengers) and I told them to get me an ayah saying that Allah condemned all of them and that they were all stupid religions. Which isn’t true becasue Allah created them too and their prophets AND loved them all immensely.

    3. How many times must I tell you non Arabs, God means Allah in Arabic! Even Arabian Christians and Persian Christians use Allah to talk about God. Khadija used the word Allah before Islam came! So what, do Christians and Jews not believe in a God? Of course they do. Like I said, God meant the poltheists and atheists becasue they just HATED Islam and Christianity and Judaism, but especially Islam. Anyway obviously you don’t fight a hindu if says something mean about any of the three religions. And you don’t punch out an atheist because she made fun of your hijab or whatever. God meant, fight in a bttle only if you must. If they come to your town with an entire army threatening war, you defend yourself and your family. that’s what happened in the battles the Prophet was alive to see. After his death Islam went downhill so…

    4. Allah specifically reveres them in particular becasue they followed the direct message of Moses and Jesus. SOme went really corrupt and that’s why God is condemning them, not all of course. and yeah, like I said God describes them in the Quran, it’s like a mini history lesson and God is the Professor.

With all due respect Mike, I think I could take you, I may be a young woman but that doesn’t mean I can’t claw and bite. My dad calls me kitten but my brother calls me tiger. (i guess that’s cause I grow my nails a little long and once we got int a fight and I scratched him, leaving his arm streaked with red.) I can be a little bitch if i need to. MAybe it’s unIslamic but let’s face it, God gave me a big temper and I don’t take ppls b.s.

  27. elle, elle, elle,

hang on let me do the sigh thing (is that an arab thing or a muslim thing).

sigh, i’m sure i’m a little out of your weight class, at least i hope so. next time you are at the gym see if you can even pick up a 70lbs dumbbell. thats what i use for my military presses. i’ve only punch one guy in my life but he dropped like a sack of potatos.

Have your say!
