Shortly after 9/11, one of the cars on Pardis Parker‘s street in Montreal was spray-painted with the words “go home Arab.”
The incident deeply impacted the Sri Lanka-born Parker, and inspired him to write his very first film: Afghan.
The award-winning short, which stars Parker (a comedian by trade) and Mark Little of Picnicface, tells the story of a hate crime victim forced to look for humor where none should be found.

Great ,it reminds me of a riddle i read in the bible ;out of the eater(lion) came something sweet and the proverb ,if life give you a lemon make lemonade. This young man is surely making more than lemonade .I do hope that others follow his example if someone insults your religion or your god use the ocasion to create art to express how you feel.
Although i cannot understand how someone can draw a cartoon about another man like me or you that, can ignite a riot that kill innocent people or blaspheme a man’s name that can cause widespread demonstrations.Acording to the bible to blaspheme, is being a man you try to make yourself GOD.Is Muhamed God?.
