Juan Cole: Terrorism and the other Religions

23 April 2013 General 91 Comments Email This Post Email This Post

by Juan Cole (Informed Comment)

Contrary to what is alleged by bigots like Bill Maher, Muslims are not more violent than people of other religions. Murder rates in most of the Muslim world are very low compared to the United States.

As for political violence, people of Christian heritage in the twentieth century polished off tens of millions of people in the two world wars and colonial repression. This massive carnage did not occur because European Christians are worse than or different from other human beings, but because they were the first to industrialize war and pursue a national model. Sometimes it is argued that they did not act in the name of religion but of nationalism. But, really, how naive. Religion and nationalism are closely intertwined. The British monarch is the head of the Church of England, and that still meant something in the first half of the twentieth century, at least. The Swedish church is a national church. Spain? Was it really unconnected to Catholicism? Did the Church and Francisco Franco’s feelings toward it play no role in the Civil War? And what’s sauce for the goose: much Muslim violence is driven by forms of modern nationalism, too.

I don’t figure that Muslims killed more than a 2 million people or so in political violence in the entire twentieth century, and that mainly in the Iran-Iraq War 1980-1988 and the Soviet and post-Soviet wars in Afghanistan, for which Europeans bear some blame.

Compare that to the Christian European tally of, oh, lets say 100 million (16 million in WW I, 60 million in WW II– though some of those were attributable to Buddhists in Asia– and millions more in colonial wars.)relviolence

Belgium– yes, the Belgium of strawberry beer and quaint Gravensteen castle– conquered the Congo and is estimated to have killed off half of its inhabitants over time, some 8 million people at least.

Or, between 1916-1917 Tsarist Russian forces — facing the Basmachi revolt of Central Asians trying to throw off Christian, European rule — Russian forces killed an estimated 1.5 million people. Two boys brought up in or born in one of those territories (Kyrgyzstan) just killed 4 people and wounded others critically. That is horrible, but no one, whether in Russia or in Europe or in North America has the slightest idea that Central Asians were mass-murdered during WW I and looted of much of their wealth. Russia at the time was an Eastern Orthodox, Christian empire (and seems to be reemerging as one!).

Then, between half a million and a million Algerians died in that country’s war of independence from France, 1954-1962, at a time when the population was only 11 million!

I could go on and on. Everywhere you dig in European colonialism in Afro-Asia, there are bodies. Lots of bodies.

Now that I think of it, maybe 100 million people killed by people of European Christian heritage in the twentieth century is an underestimate.

As for religious terrorism, that too is universal. Admittedly, some groups deploy terrorism as a tactic more at some times than others. Zionists in British Mandate Palestine were active terrorists in the 1940s, from a British point of view, and in the period 1965-1980, the FBI considered the Jewish Defense League among the most active US terrorist groups. (Members at one point plotted to assassinate Rep. Dareell Issa (R-CA) because of his Lebanese heritage.) Now that Jewish nationalsts are largely getting their way, terrorism has declined among them. But it would likely reemerge if they stopped getting their way. In fact, one of the arguments Israeli politicians give for allowing Israeli squatters to keep the Palestinian land in the West Bank that they have usurped is that attempting to move them back out would produce violence. I.e., the settlers not only actually terrorize the Palestinians, but they form a terrorism threat for Israel proper (as the late prime minister Yitzhak Rabin discovered).

Even more recently, it is difficult for me to see much of a difference between Tamerlan Tsarnaev and Baruch Goldstein, perpetrator of the Hebron massacre.

Or there was the cold-blooded bombing of the Ajmer shrine in India by Bhavesh Patel and a gang of Hindu nationalists. Chillingly, they were disturbed when a second bomb they had set did not go off, so that they did not wreak as much havoc as they would have liked. Ajmer is an ecumenical Sufi shrine also visited by Hindus, and these bigots wanted to stop such open-minded sharing of spiritual spaces because they hate Muslims.

Buddhists have committed a lot of terrorism and other violence as well. Many in the Zen orders in Japan supported militarism in the first half of the twentieth century, for which their leaders later apologized. And, you had Inoue Shiro’s assassination campaign in 1930s Japan. Nowadays militant Buddhist monks in Burma/ Myanmar are urging on an ethnic cleansing campaign against the Rohingya.

As for Christianity, the Lord’s Resistance Army in Uganda initiated hostilities that displaced two million people. Although it is an African cult, it is Christian in origin and the result of Western Christian missionaries preaching in Africa. If Saudi Wahhabi preachers can be in part blamed for the Taliban, why do Christian missionaries skate when we consider the blowback from their pupils?

Despite the very large number of European Muslims, in 2007-2009 less than 1 percent of terrorist acts in that continent were committed by people from that community.

Terrorism is a tactic of extremists within each religion, and within secular religions of Marxism or nationalism. No religion, including Islam, preaches indiscriminate violence against innocents.

It takes a peculiar sort of blindness to see Christians of European heritage as “nice” and Muslims and inherently violent, given the twentieth century death toll I mentioned above. Human beings are human beings and the species is too young and too interconnected to have differentiated much from group to group. People resort to violence out of ambition or grievance, and the more powerful they are, the more violence they seem to commit. The good news is that the number of wars is declining over time, and World War II, the biggest charnel house in history, hasn’t been repeated.

  1. “Muslims are not more violent than people of other religions.”

Statistics – the fact Christian derived genocides outstrip Muslims is I contend really a matter of means and opportunity given both Islamic and Christian texts derive their notions of Other from exactly the same source Jewish religion.

Must be a vast relief to the victims of these religions to know one version has not reach the genocidal heights of the Other.

I am not sure if you have noticed in the Muslim world where Other appears to diminish to zero in time and space.

The nexus between the Muslim world and Other. How many died today. We are talking about terror not the run of the mill murder.

A inherent construct of terror which if you have not noticed are repeated everyday.

    45 here 85 there 2 here 5 there …..

If one simply picks up a newspaper today why is it in countries where Muslims exist there is a greater propensity for terror not only against fellow adherents but Other?

Please we can count. The fact they are less – i am sure is consolation to the parents.

  2. Yeah, because all the gunmen who shoot up schools in the United States are probably Muslim. Oh wait… Bill Maher as an atheist shouldn’t be holding the same negative attitudes people of some religions hold toward other religions. One of the problems with religion is the dogma makes people act like dicks to one another. So, dearest Bill, fellow atheist, show a little respect.

  3. Bill Maher is simply looking for ratings…. Just like all the other idiots on television and radio who comment on these things with unsupported idiocy!

  4. Since when did bill Maharashtra become a bigot???

  5. interesting despite the ‘headline’

  6. I can’t stand Bill Maher. I am sooo glad that the Muslims don’t have a high crime rate at home. Due to the fact that they spread their hatred to other peoples who don’t believe as they do. As an example the USA.

  7. How about honor killings? Beheadings? Terrorist attacks?

  8. When it comes to the horrors of the kidnapped and enslaved the Africans and genocide the red Indians they say this things did not happen in the name of religion lol

They were non-Christians when they did this to them

  9. lol usa Bring the hatred to herself the whole world hates you not just the Muslims Your actions have brought to you what you deserved

  10. The Crusades.

  11. Indeed…. Keep telling us the truth! 🙂

  12. Christian extremists in the US like the KKK, Neo Nazi groups and the abortion clinic bombers and shooters known as the Army of God have murdered and terrorized PLENTY! Not to mention the near genocide of Native Americans, Hawaiians and the Inuit–Yupik people.

2011 in Norway, self described Christian crusader Anders Behring Breivik was arrested and charged with terrorism after a car bombing in Oslo and a mass shooting. As a result of his attacks, 151 people were injured, and 77 killed.

In Uganda, The Lord’s Resistance Army, a cult guerrilla army engaged in an armed rebellion against the Ugandan government, has been accused of using child soldiers and committing numerous crimes against humanity; including massacres, abductions, mutilation, torture, rape, and forced child labor as soldiers, porters, and sex slaves.

In Peru, fourteen traditionalist shamans were murdered over a period of several months prior to October 2011. The murders were committed by a group of other evangelical Christians.

The National Liberation Front of Tripura is a nationalist militant organization based in India. The NLFT seeks to secede from India and establish an independent state. In 2001, there were 826 reported terrorist attacks in Tripura, in which 405 people lost their lives and 481 kidnappings were made by the NLFT and related organizations such as the Christian All Tripura Tiger Force.

No one ever speaks of the Croatian extermination camps of 1942-1943. The new Independent State of Croatia” was dedicated to a clerical-fascist ideology influenced both by Nazism and extreme Roman Catholic fanaticism. On coming to power, the Ustaša Party dictatorship in Croatia quickly commenced on a systematic policy of racial extermination of all Serbs, Jews and Gypsies living within its borders. It was run by run by Catholic Ustaša under their dictator Ante Paveli, a practicing Catholic and regular visitor to the pope. There were even concentration camps exclusively for children.

Those are just a few of the more recent crimes, but let’s not forget the show stoppers like the Spanish Inquisition, The Crusades and the Salem Witch Trials. There has always been plenty of killing in the name of religion –or should we say using religion as an excuse for murder — by ALL religious groups. I look at the murder, not their so called beliefs and I say so-called because if any of these people believed their holy books, they would not be murdering innocent people.

  13. Susan, you are NO different than Maher! Take a seat POT….

  14. NOTHING to do with Islam, but let’s get back to white Christian male violence.

  15. Susan there are millions of muslims who live in USA. So did you talked to each and every one of them and they told you they hate USA?

  16. Roger Nehring, please study culture vs Islam. Honor killings are an ignorant cultural practice, not Islamic. Please study the definition of a Muslim, and you’ll see that terrorist are not Muslim definition.

  17. LOL, except that they said they had to bring “God & Jesus” to the “savages”. Bigots have selective memories, their souls are filled with hypocrisy.

  18. Honor killings have NOTHING to do with Islam? There have been no market bombings, car bombings etc in Afghanistan, Iraq, etc in the name of Islam?

  19. The Crusades? How do you think Islam spread throughout North Africa as quickly as it did? If you want to go back a thousand years, you might recall that Muslims invaded Europe and swept across the land murdering and conquering until the equally bellicose Christian forces stopped them.

  20. those things you listed rogers are as common as our school shooting in USA.

  21. Bill Maher is the furthest thing from a bigot. He was just pointing out that Islam is the only religion that approves of murdering someone deemed a blasphemer. Maher is opposed to All religion though not just Islam. If crime rates are low in Muslim countries it’s because they will chop your damn head off in a soccer stadium if you don’t do as they tell you. Screw that.

  22. Awfully common for an “ignorant cultural practice”. Definition is not the same as “faith in action”. Christianity sounds good on paper too.

  23. Juan Cole…got to love him (and the Truth)…

  24. Roger , when a man want to kill , to invade a country , to enslave people , he can do it in the name of anything , and because religion is the most noble cause , he can manipulate his people in the name of it .

  25. yap true

  26. In which country do they sanction honor killings?

  27. Roger if I just become a Christian and do something stupid, would you blame christanity for it or me? think before you answer cause you will have no way out. Does my doing something stupid qualify me to be a genuine/valid Christian?

  28. I think Bill is very funny at times, esp. when heckling conservatives but what hes stating as a so called ‘fact’ is only factual to him, and the 2 reasearchers he probably paid so he could say ‘No its right there see, a scientist (ha) said so”. He is definiatly a weastern, material reductionist who see’s science as a religion which its not. And there cant possible be something more to life. R. Dawken-esk if you will.

  29. Bill Maher has always been a jerk-ass, trying to stir shit and cause trouble. He thinks he’s so trendy acting as anti-religious iconoclast, but there will be a time when people will get tired of him.

  30. I love how people like Lauri have to jump into the Way Back Machine to pull equivalency arguments. (“they did it first!”)

  31. Can someone point out to me the last time somebody in U.S. who was shooting up a school or murdering a rival gangster was doing so in the name of Christianity or shouting out “Jesus is Great!” while doing it?

  32. I’m not arguing they did it first, asshat. I’m saying that Christians are violent, too. Also note the witch burnings, in which millions of women were slain – horribly tortured – for supposedly being witches. Christianity has its share of horrors, and still does.

  33. I’m also saying that human beings from way back have done a lot of bad things – invading, raping, pillaging, killing – and pinning a stereotype vilifying this behavior on one group while ignoring the bigger picture – and our own peoples’ role in it – is ridiculous and intellectually problematic. humans are historically violent and destructive. all of us.

  34. here in the recent US, as others have pointed out, we have slavery, the KKK, the near extermination of the natives and many animals, widespread sexual assaults perpetrated against primarily rural peoples, and lately the growth of right-wing extremism. scary stuff.

  35. and of course all the school shootings. note, tho, that all the perps of violence are males. seems to be a problem with masculinity – not religion.

  36. That’s all well and statistically correct. Maybe it’s not the time to “stand up” fo Muslim extremists just because they aren’t statistically as bad as Christians. There’s plenty of blame on all sides.

  37. Lauri – you do know that with each successive post you become more tiresome, right?

  38. Thank you Juan.
I respect Christians,Hindus,Buddhists and Jews a lot. Never hated them becoz they are Christians or Jews or whatever.

  39. Dear Roger, honor killings are not sanctioned by Islam. Its a cultural practice which can be found even in Largely Hindu India. A woman’s chastity is seen as her family’s honor in Eastern Cultures. Easterners are averse to Pre-marital sexual relations and Society as a whole abhors it. In Islamic teachings you can find examples where Prophet said a prostitute was forgiven and went to Paradise becoz she fetched water for a thirsty dog. Islam however prescribes physical punishement for adulterers which can range from lashings to Capital Punishment. We are not sorry for that. Beheadings are no more practiced in Muslim world except in Saudi Arabia. Market Bombings,Car Bombings are secular war tactics, not sanctioned by Muslim teachings. Be objective.

  40. Andy the folks who blew up women’s. clinics and shot abortion docs in this country did so in the name of Christianity. And that wasn’t so many years ago. Certainly not the kiddie ages.

  41. Fact: Terrorism has no religion, race, or nationality. There are extremists everywhere, regardless of religion, race. These people who do bad things, and call themselves muslims and say they do it in the name of Allah are not true muslims or practiceing the true teachings of the Quran and Islam. Islam is peace. And a true muslim would not do these horrible things. People need to stop pointing fingers cuz like I said there are extremists everywhere. There are bad people everywhere, regardless of religion or race.

  42. Have you got any massacres by atheists?

  43. I have never thought of Bill Maher as a bigot. He was raised as a Catholic, and his mother is Jewish. He is intelligent and very funny. He is the only reason we have HBO.

  44. Shouting Allahu Akbar does not make one a Muslim. Following Islam does.

Being Muslim is to follow the injunctions of God. He strongly prohibits unlawful killing so, if you kill innocent people, you disobey and disregard Him.

If then, despite flouting Gods laws, you call yourself Muslim you are nothing but a liar. A terrorist has NO religion.

  45. Islam has only ONE law, the Qur’an, and NOWHERE in our Holy Book will you find God condoning the murder of a blasphemer! They will be punished in the afterlife but NOT here on earth. Those who chop off the heads of blasphemers do not follow God’s law but their own.

  46. Shahid, Islam is found in the Qur’aan, and the punishment for adultery is precise. It’s a hundred lashes for the male and the female both.
This punishment can only be meted out provided there are 4 witnesses, testifying to the adultery, or if the guilty parties confess. A special case is if the husband swears 4 times by God that his wife is guilty, but it will be averted if she swears that she is not.

  47. Will the atheist regimes of Stalin and Mao and Pol Pot do as an example? They have an estimated 50-60 Million murders, of their own countrymen, between them.

  48. The practice of honour killing is present in every traditional, patriarchal society, and is not bound to any religion. The fact that it’s extant among Muslims is testimony to their ignorance of their religion.

  49. Those spreading hatred are, more often than not, Americans, terrorizing and killing Muslims in so many countries. That tends to generate and feed hatred.

  50. Well, in the Muslim world, killing apostates, gays, atheist bloggers and stoning women don’t count as murder. They are considered as punishments.

  51. If a murder was done for the sake of a religion, then no matter how many apologist will justify that it’s an ignorant cultural practice, for the criminal, he did it for the sake of his religion. Just like how the assassin of Theo van Gogh killed the latter for the sake of Islam.

  52. Goran, I’ve talked to some mujahideens before and for them, Muslims like you who do not wage war against Islam’s enemies are not real Muslims. What’s your opinion about that one?

  53. “Atheist regimes” LOL
I wonder what’s in an atheist doctrine or if we have some sort of “holy” book to follow.

  54. Debra, maybe some of those you mentioned used religion as an excuse, but just like Salem Trials, of course the witches were killed for the sake of Christianity.

As for Anders Breivik, if I’m not mistaken, he went on a killing spree not because he hates non-Christians but because he hates multiculturalism.

  55. This is so on target that when I shared, I borrowed your remark, crediting you. This is perfect.

  56. I guess the Crusades were peaceful, non-violent excursions.

  57. I guess the Crusades were peaceful, non-violent excursions.

  58. @Danyhael Philippe: He apologized to Robert Spencer, who he mentioned over 50 times in his manifest, for not being able to kill more Muslims.

  59. Violence in the Mideast is not new stuff. Read the bible. They’ve been brutally killing people for years. Only recently have they begun to target the US. Teaching hatred breeds more hatred.

  60. How is Bill Maher any different than nearly everyone on faux news!?

  61. The Islamophobes will just ignore this.

  62. The Islamophobes have no understanding of what truth and facts are.

  63. @Rosen Otter, Timothy McVeigh was an atheist.

  64. @Rosen Otter, Anders Behring Breivik is an atheist.

  65. No, Jason, he is a Christian. Here is a passage from page 1403 of his manifesto. I’ve also provided a link to the entire 1508 page document. I understand why Christians would not want Anders tied to them, but he’s one of theirs in the same way many tie the Tsarnaeva brothers to the religion of Islam.

Q: Are you a religious man, and should science take priority over the teachings
    of the Bible?
My parents, being rather secular wanted to give me the choice in regards to religion.
At the age of 15 I chose to be baptised and confirmed in the Norwegian State Church. I
consider myself to be 100% Christian. However, I strongly object to the current suicidal
path of the Catholic Church but especially the Protestant Church. I support a Church that
believes in self defence and who are willing to fight for its principles and values, at least
resist the efforts put forth to exterminate it gradually. The Catholic and Protestant Church
are both cheering their own annihilation considering the fact that they embrace the
ongoing inter-faith dialogue and the appeasement of Islam. The current Church elite has
shown its suicidal face, as vividly demonstrated last year by the archbishop of
Canterbury’s speech contemplating the legitimacy of Shariah in parts of Britain.

I trust that the future leadership of a European cultural conservative hegemony in Europe
will ensure that the current Church leadership are replaced and the systems somewhat
reformed. We must have a Church leadership who supports a future Crusade with the
intention of liberating the Balkans, Anatolia and creating three Christian states in the
Middle East. Efforts should be made to facilitate the de-construction of the Protestant
Church whose members should convert back to Catholicism. The Protestant Church had
an important role once but its original goals have been accomplished and have
contributed to reform the Catholic Church as well. Europe should have a united Church
lead by a just and non-suicidal Pope who is willing to fight for the security of his subjects,
especially in regards to Islamic atrocities.

I fully support that the Church gains more or less monopoly on religion in Europe
(government policies, school curriculum etc at least) in addition to granting the Church
several concessions which have been taken from them the last decades.
As for the Church and science, it is essential that science takes an undisputed precedence
over biblical teachings. Europe has always been the cradle of science and it must always
continue to be that way. Regarding my personal relationship with God, I guess I’m not an excessively religious man. I am first and foremost a man of logic. However, I am a supporter of a monocultural Christian Europe.

  66. @ Danahayal Philippe”Atheist regimes” LOL
I wonder what’s in an atheist doctrine or if we have some sort of “holy” book to follow.”

  67. The 3 regimes mentioned were all officially atheist, and China remains so. ‘holy book to follow’? How about the ‘Communist Manifesto’?

  68. @ Danyhael Philippe
We have the right AND the duty to fight against the enemies of Islam, only in self defence, after having been attacked, or to eradicate oppression.
Palestinians have the right to fight the Zionists as they are both under constant attack and the harshest oppression. The same goes for the Muslims in the Philippines, in Afghanistan, in Syria, and a few others.
However if the enemy seek peace we too must respond in kind. This is the law of God, and the limits set by Him. So long as we follow that we’re doing God’s work. There are many ways to do this, other than with arms. The way of the ‘pen’ is one.

  69. That should be the Muslims in Mindanao, the southernmost island of the Philippines, that was ceded to the Philippines, despite the promise of the US to grant it self determination.

  70. @ Danyhael Philippe
In doing so you are rejecting the Qur’aan, the ONLY law of Islam, and thus can no longer claim to be a Muslim.
Stoning is NOWHERE, mentioned in the Qur’aan, as the punishment for any crime.

  71. If a Muslim does something you dislike, but which is IN ACCORDANCE with Islam, then you have the right to blame our faith.
It makes no sense to claim that a person does something FOR his religion, by DISOBEYING its central tenets.

What he is then doing is in fact AGAINST his religion, no matter what he claims. He alone must take the blame and NO blame can fall on Islam, which has prohibited such deeds.

  72. Truth and facts run counter to their agenda of demonizing Muslims, and so they choose to ignore them. 🙂

  73. Injustice and oppression also bring hatred. US support of the Zionists, who stole the land of Palestine and ruthlessly murdered, or expelled, many of its inhabitants is probably the most explosive fomenter of anti-US sentiments.

  74. @Goran
You earlier wrote that there is no worldly punishment for blasphemy but Pakistan has a law which prescribes up to capital punishment for blasphemy.

Now my question is, who is going to convince the lawmakers of Pakistan that this law is un islamic and should be scraped ?
Who will take up the charge to correct things?

  75. What I said was that there is no punishment prescribed, in the Qur’aan. The law of Pakistan you refer to has no support in Islam.
Come to think of it you will be hard pressed to find Muslims in Pak that abide by God’s law. (the Qur’aan) and HE alone will be able to convince them of the error of their ways. 🙁

  76. Bill Maher is douche. Full stop. He talks out of his ass. He makes statements that one, he can’t back up for shit and two, too fucking obvious to even acknowledge. On one of his shows he’s talking to a Muslim Egyptian woman who sprayed Pam Gels posters and he says “statistics show that more than 70% of Egyptians” (maybe it was 60 I can’t remember) a majority of Egyptians are for Sharia. Well NO SHIT. It’s like doing a survey of Jews and concluding that a majority of them eat kosher and acting so damn surprised. You gotta be real deep in a hole to watch his show with a straight face.

  77. @meera
Would you like to be stoned to death for anything?

  78. Not all Muslims believe that Qur’an is the only law. Most Muslims follow the Sharia and the interpretations of Sharia than Qur’an itself.

  79. Cool Rahma. I didn’t know that. My last update about him was he’s against multicultarism and its supporters. Thanks for the link Debra.

So he killed those people in the name of Christianity then. The more I’m convinced that there’s no hope for all Abrahamic believers.

  80. I really do not like controversy with ignorant, there are still some talk about the Koran and Sharia without a proper understanding of the concept, just to mislead people, talk about stoning to death they do not even know what is the case , Honor killing I did not hear once in the Quran or mentioned in the Sharia , but it is only the actions of the individual, quran and Sharia are the finest than you can imagine

  81. If they don’t believe that it’s because they haven’t read their Qur’aan properly. God declares that He has PERFECTED our religion, and thus any additions, or detractions, are manmade and fouling our faith.

  82. That’s really weird isn’t it? God took time to “perfect” a religion, but this same omnipotent god didn’t even think of perfecting this world. His omnipotence or maybe priorities are questionable.

  83. See? We don’t need terrorists! We have each other!

  84. Danyhael Philippe, I’ve long thought, as a Christian, that God’s omnipotence is not the ability to do anything, but the ability to do everything that can be done. Creating a perfect world, a world with no volcanoes or viruses may be one of them: material existence cannot be perfect, just as good as possible.

  85. Comparing it to the US is a bit crazy though. The US has double the murder rate of any wealthy first world nation. Ours is 4.8/100k compared to completely secular nations like Germany and Japan, who have murder rates of around 0.8. It has more to do with the laws of the land and firearm regulation than religion. Case in point, most Islamic nations regulate firearms.

  86. A couple of years ago, 5 people were shot to death in Japan, which has about 1/2 the US population and far greater population density, and it was a huge deal to them that 5 whole people were shot. Actually, more people are ACCIDENTALLY killed by firearms in the US than the entire murder rates of most of the world. The US is just really, really violent because it is so bloody easy to get pretty much any gun you want here and unlimited ammo.

  87. If you honestly believe that Islam isn’t a violent religion, you aren’t paying attention.

  88. Hahaha – that’s got to be the ultimate comeback for the dogmatic, Ellen Collins. “If you honestly believe that Islam isn’t a violent religion you aren’t paying attention.” Translation: if you don’t see things as I do, you must be doing it wrong.

  89. Exactly Ellen and the standard response of slaves of Muslims is Blame it on the Christians or disbelievers..
