Just last month the KKK (which has seen an increase in membership) was dropping off leaflets in Virginia on peoples lawns, claiming they aren’t hate-filled terrorists but peaceful Christians.

I wonder why we haven’t heard more about this guy and isn’t it curious that he isn’t described as a terrorist? He believed that “stopping the regime with action by bloodshed,” was the “will of God.”

The dramatic events in the Central African Republic no doubt seem distant and complex for a North American audience. CAR is geographically as large as France, but with a population of only 4.5 million (similar to Lebanon or Costa Rica). This “price tag” assault and numerous attacks like it do not represent Judaism, which calls for respect and tolerance for other religious traditions and especially the dead.

None of the reports that I have come across mention the religion of the perpetrators of this chilling and horrific crime in Papua New Guinea.
